why not? i’m a documenter of love and i enjoy weddings! i’ve had many side hustles along the way and all of them have had ties to weddings. i have worked at a bridal salon helping brides pick out their dream dress. i worked at a tuxedo rental agency where i fitted people for tuxes. i’ve made cakes and cupcakes for weddings, i have been a coordinator, invitation maker, makeup artist, and even a bartender for weddings! there was a time when i said i would never photograph weddings because i was so afraid of the pressure, but i have come to find that i'm in love with capturing love and raw moments from these big days!
speaking with my couples is important. communication is my jam. if we don’t communicate, we’re not on the same page. i am pretty chill, low stress, flexible, and i have a ton of fun on wedding days, but i am serious about my work and capturing the true moments from your day. posed photos, yes…because they are important too! but what i most love is documenting the happy tears, the raw, and sweet simple moments from your day as it is unfolding. i aim to make photographs that make you feel all the feels now and bring you right back to those moments later on when you look back at your images 5, 10, 15, 20+ years from now. i will be with you through all the emotions of your celebration, i’ll be your friend, i’ll probably be tearing up behind the camera watching you take the first step into a new chapter, and i’ll more than likely dance with you at your reception.
my ideal couple is anyone who wants to remember the candid, heart melting, sweet moments from their day. they want beautiful portraits of connection and love. they want the real and raw. they want to remember the little details (and of course the big ones!). they are rad, fun, and communicative. they aren't afraid of trying out my maybe weird ideas to try and capture a cool shot. they want me to dance with them at their party, and most importantly, they want me to tell their story through beautiful photographs.
* get in touch with me - please fill out my contact form if you haven't already done so, so i can gather a few important details like your names and wedding date
*we'll meet in person (or via video chat - hello covid times), because it is super important to me that we vibe well. during this meeting we also go over your wishes for the documentation of your day, answer any questions you have, go over my contract to make sure we are all on the same page about everything, and go over payment + payment schedule.
*because i want you to check out all of your options, i will not push you to book me right then and there. instead, i'll let you sit on the information we just went over and give you time to check out other photographers. i'll reach out in a couple weeks for a follow up.
*if you do decide to book me, i'll do a happy dance! i'll send you, via email your contract and invoice for your retainer to be paid.
*a 45 minute engagement session. locations outside of 94565 will incur a travel fee of $0.58 (fifty eight cents) per mile.
*a 2nd shooter
*me as your new, fun, kinda goofy, friend
*at time of booking, if time desired isn't a package option, you may add on time at a rate of $175 per half hour.
prints are important to me because you are investing in your memories. you should be able to hold and appreciate them in your hands and they should be proudly displayed in your spaces not living as digital files on your computer. times move fast. we probably realize it a couple times a year, where we remember a moment from a while ago and say to ourselves, “feels like yesterday!” while camera phone photos are important and selfies are fun (you should see my camera roll!), you want to remember this big day, big hugs, love, romance, smooches, quiet moments, giggles and tears without your hand sticking way out to capture it and you should want those printed to show off. my goal is to present you with images that make you feel all the feels now and waken that feeling of nostalgia later on.
